Posted by a Sky employeeHi Everyone
We're on a journey to make Playlists even better than they are today! We'd love for your feedback and ideas on how we can take them to the next level.
Should Playlists include other services or content? Would you like to be able to track YouTube items in your Playlist? Something not working the way you think it should? What ever your idea is, please tell us about it here.

It would be great to be able to record one program, rather than the series, if this is possible in the future

I think it's great that you are reaching out for forum members opinions, well done SKY!
However, when SKY Stream launched, and the videos are on Youtube, Playlists where promoted as users personal recordings in the cloud.
To be honest, the reality is nothing like that.
I'm not going to fill in a form, but simply say, deliver what you originally promised and I think everyone will be very happy"

Playlist not working properly again! Watching F1 qualifying. Got to the end of Q2, watched the adverts then it started at the beginning of Q2 again! Could fast forward through Q2 but had to watch the adverts again(!) otherwise I couldn't watch Q3. Why are there so many issues with this?

You maybe better off posting this in one of the many F1 playlist threads......

The big bash cricket is about to start in Australia, for example. If the game is on in the middle of the night I want to go to my playlist at any time and watch.
Last year it was completely random if you could find the games or not.
Playlist should just work as if Stream had a hard disk. The second Sky broadcasts a programme it exists on a sky server somewhere, so it should be available to watch from the start at any time, and it should remain in my playlist until I delete it.
It's not rocket science.

unfortunately that isn't quite true as Sky don't legally have the rights to record all content onto their servers. Even for sports content broadcast on their own channels, depending on when those contracts were negotiated they may not contain a provision for cloud recording or if they do it could be for an extremely limited time frame when the content can remain on Skys servers. I've seen plenty of sports programming recorded and only be available for no longer than 48 hours due to the limitations of the contracts Sky have.
