Sky Sports UHD

I've been with Sky for over 18 months now. I have a Sky stream. Every single time I'm watching something on Sky Sport main UHD 401 the screeen occasionally just stutters or freezes but the sound carries on.

I don't have any speed issue as it's only me and my partner using the WiFi. We have a 1GB download speed. I game so I know WiFi is not the issue. I've tried streaming the puck with Ethernet and it does the same. 

anyone else in the same boat? I don't mind the 20-30 seconds behind but freezing when I have guests around for big games is embarrassing when it freeezes. 

The day virgin is available in my area I'm switching. Right now I'm stuck have no choice at all. 

please anyone know how to fix this? Or is this a well known issue on Sky streaming pucks. I also have TNT through discovery and that has never lagged out compared to how Sky sports is doing it on the puck

Sadly this is a known and on going issue with Sky Sports UHD. Sky are aware and apparently "investigating". 

As a solution, some users report that setting their sound on the Stream Box to "Pass through" helps by giving the Stream Box less to process.

For me, the only thing that helps is doing a box restart from the settings menu, but this isn't a long term fix and will need doing every week or so.

I hope this helps, especially as I understand how infuriating this issue is.
