Playlist in the wrong order (Glass/Stream)

Help needed please. My playlist is out of order things I regularly watch are now put in random placed in the list? Very annoying. I've done the usual reboot of sky puk, Router etc. Thanks it's driving me mad

Hi @Mackem123

What do you mean out of order? And define random places.

Generally playlist will sort things in order of last broadcast if you go to Playlist > Most recent. However if you want to view items alphabetically go to Playlist > TV Shows (Or movies etc).

See: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/your-playlist-and-tv-guide-sky-glass for more on playlists.

Re: Playlist messed up (Sky stream)

They used to be in newest 'recording' at the beginning of the list now every thing is random. I have to search thro list even for newest show

Mine is the same, it's not in order of last recording now @Mackem123  I suspect it will rectify itself one day.

Re: Playlist messed up (Sky stream)

Mine is also like this, playlist is in order of when added. I assumed this was just how Sky stream is.

The "Most recent" rail on the playlist is exactly that. When you newly add a show to the playlist it moves to the front of Most recent, then when a new episode of a show you have playlisted is available ( which could means its available on-demand, a cloud recording has been taken, or also that an episode is currently airing on a TV channel), the show will most up to the front of the Most recent rail.

Re: Playlist messed up (Sky stream)

Mine used to be like that most recent went to the beginning was great and easy. Last week all that stopped. Recorded something earlier it was number 1t on a list of 32  shows in my play list. That's just an example of what it's now like. And don't get me started on series link programmes. It's a right mess up

Re: Playlist messed up (Sky stream)

Same for me, playlist used to be ordered by most recent first but now ordered by date added.

Re: Playlist messed up (Sky stream)

I have had the same problem, for at least the last couple of weeks, and for certain programmes, longer.

I kept thinking it would rectify itself like these things usually do, but it hasn't. It's annoying me now.

I've got the same, my playlist doesn't show the most recent recordings on the recent rail, any ideas on how to rectify?

Re: Playlist in the wrong order (Glass/Stream)

I did ring Sky about this and the guy tried to help but he really didn't understand the problem and just went thro the usual unplug switch off stuff (which I already did) and said maybe resetting Puck would solve the problem!! Which I don't want to do.
