Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

Of course it could be a server-side thing: either way Sky is extremely unlikely to give any details.

Not fixed on mine. Put the golf on UHD and still getting stuttering.

@Sauzee4  That may suggest one of 2 things, poor WiFi or you need to restart the puck.

What speed is your puck getting (not your line speed or speed to the hub).

You can check the speed by opening the netflix app on the puck, Go to get help, run connection test.

On a side note, if you can, why not ditch Stream and go with the cheaper Now TV route. It remains flawless throughout these ever growing Stream technical issues.

Watching cricket in UHD today and issue still happening. Definitely not fixed. Netflix speed in excess of 300.

I still have the issue on my original gen 1 puck, my gen 2 puck has never had the issue and is fine. The gen 1 has the older Realtek chipset and the gen 2 has the newer Broadcom chipset. I think the issue is with the gen 1 puck.

Hello,

I just popped on here and noticed this thread.

Tonight, I've experienced a complete drop out of a programme on App,e tv +, the show stopped, the hand set was useless (nothing worked) then the  screen went black followed by a SKY restart, all without me doing anything.

later, I was watching a show on Netflix during which there was a "stuttering" event of short duration.

then I was watching a show on SKY & again there was a brief stutter (more like an optical hiccup).

That's 3 events in one night and I had brief break in programming last night too.

If this is solved, as you claim, why am I getting all this? Is there an update I should be downloading? I'd appreciate any guidance.

This thread is regarding Sky sports UHD channels, your issues are unrelated to this particular thread as you've mentioned issues with apple TV and Netflix on Sky Stream, neither of those apps have any bearing on the Sky Sports UHD issues that have been posted here.

A separate thread would be the best course of action to get help.

It's a growing trend with Sky. They "fix" one thing and break a few others all at the same time. Don't they have beta testers in the community who help test these so-called "fixes" under real everyday viewing conditions?

I have the so called  "gen 1" puck that is sometimes mentioned by a few on here & no longer have this issue.
