As on all the topics that have mentioned this issue, it's universal and does not depend on your ISP and incoming speeds.

It's all of Sky's own making and a right pain in the backside.

I get weekly phone calls from Sky now. Basically confirming the poo show is still continuing. I then make them process the £1 refund for UHD not working. This whole process wastes their time. But they refuse to replace pucks and refuse to provide UHD free of charge whilst the complaint is ongoing. Clearly no  common sense in how to run a business with this current ongoing resolution. 
first half of Liverpool v Man City was ok but sound was awful. Constant drop outs. However second half the box has started the whole stupid restarting every minute. So back to HD for me.

Particulary bad today, during Liverpool v Man City, watching in UHD, picture is stuttering intermittently. I have a good Wifi signal, and all other channels are okay.

Doesn't make sense at all @GrandJames. not sure how much longer this can go on for and that we paying for a system that doesn't work correctly. I really hope they can fix it but it's just crazy the time is taking. I think they know they can't fix it but they don't want to accept defeat

I spoke to Sky today and made a complaint. They offered a one month refund of Sky Sports which I accepted but asked them to leave the complaint open until the issue is resolved. They did confirm it's a known problem and they are aware of the issue.

They also directed me to https://www.cedr.com/consumer/cisas/overview/ which apparently can be used if a compliant is not resolved within 8 weeks.

I've only just raised the formal complaint, but could be useful if this isn't resolved in 8 weeks.

But this has been happening for a very long time now. Surely this should be sorted by now. Compensation should be awarded. It's just not good enough.

Even on my v2 puc it was bad on 922. 401 was OK bar the odd sound drop out. Sky really do need to resolve this. I do feel the V2 puc is better than the V1 i had before.

30 seconds of trying to watch Liverpool/City in UHD this afternoon was enough for me to realise HD was the only sensible option for viewing.
