Sky Sports UHD picture keeps stuttering

So many channels today are briefly pausing 

Come in Sky you can do better and with more urgency please.

Totally agree...I tried to get it sorted on the phone to sky but when I could hear what she was saying( because of other noises going on in the background ) she kept saying all the problems were my fibre broadband then she said it was my WiFi then when told her it was wired she said it was my cables then it was the remote told me to unplug the puck then put back and I had already done all that before phoning... I think sky should ask us to return these 1st gen pucks and give us a gen2 puck.

It doesnt wholly solve the issue though. The 2nd half of the Newcastle game was glitch free though.

Completely agree @smdvd I feel like you and others these first gen pucks are weak, insufficient and cheap

Yet again I lost picture and sound whilst watching this morning and it went to the home screen. Sky really need to understand that they are ruining our TV coverage. Really Sky, you need to up your game and show that you value us as customers

Since I forced all my pucks  to do software  updates , only one went to V38 of the software all on same UI now ,  , they have developed two new faults 1/Jumps back to menu regardless if what channel ( ie not UHD specific) 2/ Randomly turn off .

I noticed sound dropouts on Netflix and a film downloaded from Sky store also some picture freeze on non sky channels. But football has been mainly trouble free, compared to what it was like. Watching Olympics on D+ app was also encountering picture freeze.

Yet more pausing on Sky sports plus along with TNT sports earlier. This is unacceptable Sky. You are ruining our coverage

Watching on Sky Glass. On 85 minutes of Brighton v Palace the screen went black and the subtitles came on.

So, the UHD  stuttering has now gone! But guess what , the lip sync has returned. I give up.

Twice today, with a restart between games I have had a switch to something like Love Island, briefly in silence then a black screen. Switch to 921 then back to 922 and all is good.

Can't be hardware showing a completely different signal I would suspect.

So my 2nd gen puck has not completely solved the issue. No judder so to speak but the occasional freeze with picture and then it jumps to where it should be. Less annoying that the judder but still not good enough. 

can we leave our contracts early if this isn't resolved? I'm tempted to move to virgin.

I give up , had a break from the feed as I received a Red card for improper conduct 😂

Now I'm back it's the same old same old , watched the cricket in UHD fine all morning .......

As soon as I put footie on same issues 🤬🤬🤬

nothing to do with positioning of the puck , WiFi , resets , etc etc etc just fix it

It's awful once again in the football @HOBOHOLT . Lots of Benny Hill and stuttering on both 401 and 922 and then earlier on as mentioned it was pausing on many channels. It's really not on all this and is poor by Sky

For months I've put up with changing the sound settings whenever I want to watch the football, but now we've reached the point that even that doesn't work. Its embarrassing to explain to friends and family that if we want to watch football I just need to reboot the sky and might have to do it at half time as well.

No wonder illegal services are so popular we pay a fortune for a worse service than they get.
