Sky Pucks

I have an old sky hd box and moving to sky stream. If I connect a puck to a tv which doesn't have the sky hd box attached will my sky hd box shut down?

@GingerLC55  You can use the Sky+HD box to get FTA channels, any subs would be cancelled on the Sky+HD box as you wouldn't be able to have both.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Sky Pucks

I'm not very tech minded so need things in simpler terms. I have two sky hd boxes and now transferring to sky stream so have bought four pucks for four tvs. What I wanted to know is if I plug one puck in does the sky hd box stop?

@GingerLC55  No the box will continue working but you won't be able to view subscription channels such as Sky Max, only FTA channels like BBC1, ITV etc.

@GingerLC55

Once one of the pucks is activated online, the subscription bundle on Sky+ ceases.  This also happens 14 days after puck delivery whether or not one had been activated.
