Sky Puck Issues

I've been having picture issues with my sky puck for over a year now, everytime I call they say it's my internet speed, even had an engineer out and he said the puck was faulty, he said he had ordered a new one and should come in a couple of days.... Days past no puck... I call and get the same robotic answer of my internet. The problems don't happen on my TV and they never happened on my puck for the first 6-7 months. I can watch TV on it it fine but when I've watched something on movies or an app, it needs rebooting so I'm constantly having to turn it off, it's just frustrating and I'm sick of trying to explain, why can't sky send me a new one I send this one back and if problem persists then they are right and I'm wrong .... but no that would far too simple!

Re: Sky Puck Issues

Did you phone Sky and Sky refused to replace the Puck... that's unusual🤔

@roxy84 have you tried connecting your puck to the internet by both WIFI and Ethernet and have the same issue? If you are connecting via Wifi and havent tried via ethernet it is possible that something is now casuing some wifi inteference which is dropping the signal strength and causing the issues with the Stream puck. The puck needs a strong and stable connection to function perfectly so i'd suggest testing via ethernet if you haven't already tried that. One thing to note when testing via ethernet is to ensure in the puck's settings you disable the WIFI, otherwise it will switch back over to the WiFI and invalidate your test.

Other streaming devices don't necessarily work in the same way that the Sky streaming platform does.

Also not really a relevant comment in helping @roxy84 try to get the issue resolved.

Re: Sky Puck Issues

True .... there does seem to be a significant issue with Sky's system that Sky needs to address🤔
