Scrolling is annoying

This is a small thing but extremely annoying. If let's say I'm on Channel 402and I press up on the control it goes onto 403 then we're all good, that all makes sense.
But let's say I'm on 402 and I hit the middle button which brings up the shows information. Then if I hit up on the control to show me what's on the next channel without changing the channel, you'd think it would go up to 403, but it doesn't. It goes in the opposite direction down to 401.
This messes with my brain. Please fix this

It's been like it since release ..... many will agree with you

I've had glass for over 3 years and when watching Wimbledon this week I still press the wrong way on the buttons to swap from bbc2 to bbc1 every time !

Hi @Iffi Yes I agree it can be rather confusing, I still get it wrong after many years of practice.  As advised by @Jporch316 the streaming platform has been like this since it was launched.  Sky Q was the same and they have just copied that system.

@Iffi Sky+HD is also the same, so every Sky system has been and it won't change.

There is actually some logic to it,

When on a channel you would expect Up to move Up through the channel numbers.

When on a grid of channels, Up moves Up the list, which naturally is a lower number.

I thought that might be the case @oj01 but I had Sky+ so long ago I could remember for sure.  It actually makes things worse that after 26 years I still haven't got used to it.

I've started pressing the middle select button first as this moves the info bar up and down the channels without changing channel ...... make sure I'm on the right channel first before changing 😂
