Thanks for replying. I accept what you say but, for the new technologically challenged user like me, I still think a short instruction booklet, either printed or with an online reference, would be helpful.
I've always thought a little piece of paper in the box with the URL to the online Sky help documentation or the official Sky Youtube channel would be extremely useful for customers.
Isn't that better supplied with the order confirmation ... so it can be read before Sky Stream device delivery😉

I wouldn't have thought so. Most customers seem unlikely to read the entire contents of long emails, and i think typically users don't care about looking at instructions until after the device has been delivered 😀

So a scrap of paper is not required ... that's the link that would be supplied in the order confirmation😉

So looks like we have a consensus.
A note in the package directing new subscribers to an internet location where simple setup and use instructions can be found would be useful. I'm sure Mr Murdoch could afford this. Wonder if SKY will think about actioning the suggestion.

I'm sure Comcast would happy for a "Mr Murdoch" to pay for a pointless scrap of paper😉

The Murdoch empire has had nothing to do with Sky, since Sky was owned and controlled by Comcast in the Autumn of 2018.
