SKY PREMIER LEAGUE

Hi

I am seriously considering moving from Virgin Media to SKY. I have never had a package that includes sports channels but i big sports fan. Currently checking what sort of channels/packages I need to be looking at.

Apologies that this is such a basic question but I am confused by what I read online at times. On top of what is included in a SKY Sports package is there an additional channel called "SKY Sports Premier League"? And if there is does it require payment of an additional fee to obtain it?

There is indeed Sky Sports Premier League, it's included in the base Sky Sports package. In fact, when it comes to Sky Sports, as long as you don't subscribe to the "just F1" or similar packages you get all Sky Sports channels plus the extra Sky Sports+ streams, which are via an app on your phone, tablet, or Sky box with extra sports incl. EFL games.

With Sky Sports you get:

• Sky Sports Action
• Sky Sports Cricket
• Sky Sports Golf
• Sky Sports F1
• Sky Sports Main Event
• Sky Sports Premier League
• Sky Sports + channel and bonus streams
• Sky Sports Football 
• Sky Sports Tennis

At certain times of the year these channels get renamed, such as Sky Sports Action becoming Sky Sports NFL etc. and this is in addition to the sports channels like Sky Sports News, Sky Sports Racing and Sky Sports Mix which are included in the base package (Ultimate TV or Essential)

You should know that Sky doesn't have the rights to all games, some with be shown on other channels too - so you might also want to look at what Amazon Prime and TNT offer, for example.

if you take the sky sports complete pack you will receive the following channels for the one price 

sky sports main even

ss premier league 

ss football

ss cricket 

ss golf 

ss tennis

ss action 

ss +

sky sports main event and + are only available as part of the complete package but the rest are also available as individual channel options

It's showing that a lot of Premier league games this season will be on Now TV, but also Sky Sports

I have the Sky sports package, does this mean the same thing? As in, if they're on NowTV and not Sky sports, will I still be able to watch them all?

DONT DO IT!!

The Premier League games won't appear in your series link playlists (recordings). So you're only chance to watch them is live.

Series link does work with Premier League in regards to Sky Sports on Sky Glass/Sky Stream

Make sure you add to playlist from TV Guide before the broadcast has started you only need to do this once if it has a series link

The next game is on Saturday Wolves v Man City at 5PM that will be available for playback after the game ends you can also use watch from start while it's a live broadcast or wait until after the game has finished to do playback

Example Yesterday Friday Night August 15th Live: Premier League Liverpool v Bournemouth game is available for playback in my playlist and the following games will also be available after those match broadcasts have finished

Now TV shows the Sky Sports channels. It doesn't have anything that isn't on Sky Sports.
