Hi All,
Please can someone clear this up for me as I've heard different things from different people.
Recently the series link failed for F1 and I was unable to watch the race until many hours later when it was added to on demand. A stream user has told me they were able to watch it from the start before the race had even ended. Is that correct about Sky Stream?
If not how quickly is F1 added to Stream after it has aired? For example this weeks race is 6am, would it be available by 9am?
Thanks in advance!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @stejo
You can set it from the EPG and it will be available for playback as a cloud recording. If you don't do this or don't select watch from start then you need to wait for it to be made available by the broadcaster (in this case Sky sports). This can vary.
If you record a lot it might be worth staying with Q as Stream systems is reliant on multiple parties for things to work (i.e. you cannot cloud record BBC, ITV etc and the playlist is simply a bookmark to their app), but if you tend to binge watch TV there are benefits over Q. You also need strong and stable broadband of 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD as content is delivered via the internet not satellite dish.
Make sure you do some research, checkout youtube videos etc too.
