How can we request sky to overthink there controller for steam. I wishes it got a source button.

what kind of source ? Is it to change the hdmi channel on the tv ? Probably be extremely tricky considering the vast amount of tv manufacturers out there ....

They put it on all other remotes sky q etc.

And it was presumably the unreliability and consequent support burden of that which caused it to be left off the Glass/Stream remote.

They actually put an input select button on the remote for the Xumo Stream Box in the USA, which uses the same hardware and Entertainment OS as the Stream puck.
You can see it on the top right of this image:

Presumably because none of the services available on Xumo's Streaming service require it.
