Remote turns tv OFF but not ON

Remote works for all functions except will not turn my Samsung S95B OFF.  I have paired the remote many times but issue remains.

Your thread title says the remote won't turn your TV on, but your post says it won't turn your TV off. Which is it?

Thank you remote doesn't turn the TV ON.

Problem solved by changing TV HDMI settings.
