Recording programmes to watch at a later date

I want to record programmes to watch at a later date. Can I instal a third party piece of equipment to do this?

Sky Stream is a streaming service, not a recording service. You can tag content you want to stream later in a playlist.

Whether or not it will be available to stream later is down to the individual rights of the channel on which the content is streamed.

Thanks its as I suspected, Pity this wasn't mentioned before I switched from Virgin. 

I loath adverts and used to whizz through these without having to pay!
