Did the engineer install Sky broadband?
Have you received a Sky Stream puck (a small square box with a remote control)?
You need to connect the Stream puck to your TV with the included HDMI cable, connect it to mains power, turn on your TV and select the appropriate HDMI input using your TV remote control. Then follow the on-screen instructions to pair the Sky remote with the puck and connect it to your broadband.

Re: Receiving sky stream
Sky Stream is a self install product.
An engineer does not usually install a Sky Stream puck, like they would for Sky Q.
Did you have a Sky broadband engineer arrive today to install or upgrade your Sky broadband?
For your Sky Stream, you will need to set it up as the instructions that are within the box or read this Sky article and watch the setup video here;

Sky Stream with two pucks via wifi (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Smart Home - Bundle Smart Home plan +

Re: Receiving sky stream
Thanks.
Yes, the engineer installed the internet.
There was no.puck and no remote control.
i think the problem is I assumed he was connecting TV Stream. It seems like he didn't.
i therefore must try to speak to Sky and check when my TV will be connected.
Thanks for your response.

Re: Receiving sky stream
Sky Stream is the subscription television service, arriving on a 'Puck' ('set top box')
This isn't the same thing as Sky Broadband, which is internet access delivered though a 'Hub' (router)
Sky Broadband has engineers, but Sky Stream does not. Without a puck, your television set cannot be connected to Sky Stream.
If you've actually ordered Sky Stream alongside Sky Broadband you'd typically have had the puck delivered days ago.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Re: Receiving sky stream
I received the router days before the Broadband connection, so, obviously i don't have the item for stream ing. Have Sky made a big mistake with my installation?

It's not so much a mistake with installation as possibly a mistake with your order.
There is no installation for the Sky Stream TV service. If you ordered it then Sky send you a Stream puck in the mail & you install it yourself.
Do you have a copy of your original order? If Sky Stream with either Essential or Ultimate TV (the streaming subscription packages) is not listed then you need to call Sky and find out why.
