Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

I'm having the same issue as all of you, ordered on the 19th received my puck on the 20th but still says awaiting dispatch on My Orders. I called someone on Saturday who did take the serial number but still no luck getting myself set up.

Can someone please sort this out as it seems ridiculous that we have to wait this long for the issue to get sorted over a technical issue like this?

Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

Out of interest - has anyone in this thread noticed their delivery status changed to even "dispatched"? - last i looked mine was still awaiting dispatch....i had hoped that at this point it would have at the very least changed to dispatched and I would be closer to a solution but i am not getting a good feeling that tomorrow being the "estimated delivery day" will rectify anything.  Why is it proving so difficult to fix this....?

No, mine still says awaiting dispatch with an expected delivery date of the 23rd. I actually received the puck a couple of days ago.

If status doesn't change tomorrow I'm going to have to call them again.

I'm is still waiting dispatch too. But I got a message on my app saying it is ready and I can set it up.  But no. I still get the same message. Just called them again and they don't know why I got the message. It's still waiting to be looked at on their end.  Really regret transferring from Virgin.

I got that message too but I just can't get it to set up.

Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

@RHS39 If it's any consolation, i have been with Sky for 20 years and this is the first big problem i've had with them where something wasn't activated in time for equipment arriving.  I unplugged my main sky box and have held off putting it all back up because i was hoping it would all be sorted within a few days....

Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

We are on the exact same timeline @Malacath - i spoke with Sky on Friday night and had expected the pucks to arrive tomorrow but they were delivered early on Saturday afternoon and of course i'm only getting as far as putting the 6 digit activation code in and nothing else.  Goodness only know how many other sky customers are having this issue - there's obviously been a batch of them sent out very quickly and their system is behind!  I won't be able to contact them until tomorrow night as i am busy tonight so hopefully by then the delivery status will at least have been updated!  Keep me posted with how you get on....

No mine is still saying awaiting dispatch with expected delivery date of today. Really frustrated with this now and the apparent lack of response/action from Sky.

Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

Of anything changes at my end I'll come on here and let everyone know. It surely shouldn't be much longer particularly if our "expected" delivery days are all approaching! It makes me wonder whether they are still in the process of activating my services from sky q to stream and thats partly the reason 🤷‍♀️

Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

Came across this thread and just to share have had the exact same issue.

Ordered sky stream yesterday as new customer (having been on Now for 2 years) and pucks were delivered today - forecasted date was Tuesday.

It's so bizarre that activation should even have a dependency on the delivery date. If you have a device and an active subscription that should be enough to go racing.

Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

Completely agree - if you have the product and have paid the subscriptions, you should be entitled to use the service! They should really change it so that you can start watching as soon as you have the puck...

Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

I have 4 pucks and status is showing as 'Awaiting dispatch' so I can't activate any of them. I just spoke to Sky and they said it is a known issue and they are working on it, but it might be fixed in a couple of days. I see that somebody else was told something similar a few days ago, so clearly I can't trust 'a couple of days'.

So frustrating.

Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

I called Royal Mail. Definitely not an issue on their side. It's Sky. Just to be clear. It can take up to 28 days for them to sort it out. They told me this on 3 different occasions when I called over the weekend

Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

@TimAlsop don't want to be a negative ferret here, mine were ordered Thursday and delivered Friday, delivery date was today. Status still showing as awaiting dispatch, started this thread along with multiple calls to Sky in hope of a resolution, I don't feel any confidence that we are getting anywhere near a resolution.

Re: Pucks have arrived before recorded as dispatched!

There is no way I'm waiting anywhere near 28 days for them to sort this issue & ive never known a delivery to take that length of time! There needs to be more communication from Sky with their customers instead of the radio silence!
