Hi @Rosi60

See the "watching in different rooms" section here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-stream-faqs

But you will need to take out a whole home subscription and order 2 pucks at £39.99 each. These are loaned to you and need to be returned if you leave Sky or cancel whole home.

You can do this via mysky app, website or by calling sky. We are fellow subscribers here on the community.

In addition to the previous advice, make sure you have sufficient broadband speed and means of getting a stable signal to each additional puck you want to use. If the other TVs are further from your router and you want to use WiFi, make sure the signal is strong enough. If it isn't then you may want to invest in a WiFi mesh system or try powerline adapters to get the broadband connection to each puck.

The pucks one off fee is  £39.95

Not £39.99.

@lettice  Interestingly, yesterday Sky shipped a replacement stream puck to me.  Living in Jersey it needs to clear customs and I see the customs value declared by DPD is £61.47 which I have to assume includes the shipping.  I would say that £21.52 seems a lot for shipping suck a small item.

The £39.95 is an activation fee, not the value of the puck.

Nobody really knows what the cost of them might actually be. They were £20 to purchase when Stream first launched as a standalone product in October 2022 - that's what I paid for mine anyway. I later sold it for £80 on eBay!

Interesting

Part of it will be delivery costs and a small if I recall 5% may be an import tax to Jersey.

A quick look and delivery with DPD of such an item to UK and Jersey is around £17.

Quite a hit that for Sky, but I'm sure it's costed into the subs somewhere 😀

@lettice I only needed to pay the 5% GST which amounted to £3 so no big deal.

By the way can you remember if a replacement puck will revert to the standard default PIN, I'm guessing it will?

From what I have seen on here, if the one your replacing is your only device and Primary device (Sky Glass or Sky Stream), then yes.

But, if you have another active Puck or Sky Stream, they should hold the changed pin info.

@lettice I received my new puck about 30 minutes ago and it was setup in less time than it took me to drink a cup of coffee.  Although it was replacing my primary and only Sky device it was my old customised PIN that it recognised.  This is worth remembering if others are wondering when they get a replacement,  Not to setup the Apps again but that won't take long.

Update - I signed into 11 Apps that I tend to use and that took only 20 minutes so now fully back up to speed 😀
