Puck to samsung connection

Hi I am attempting to connect my puck to a 32" Samsung TV, if I do a hard reset 

  • Turn everything off for 10 minutes 
  • Unplug HDMI lead
  • Turn on TV and then puck
  • Plug HDMI lead back in
  • Voila perfect picture 
  • Turn off puck and TV
  • Leave for a few hours and coloured lines

I have tried puck on our other samsung tv's with no problem.I have had the first TV replaced with a new one still no picture. I have spoken to Samsung support and no one seems to know what the problem is. I have a feeling it's something to do with the settings on either one or both products?? Can anyone help as I am losing the will to live at the moment.  🤣
