Puck freezing and loosing WiFi

My streaming puck keeps freezing and the puck says it's lost the WiFi, but my phone says it's fine!

@malcolmhales  How is the puck connected to your hub?

 

Have you run a speed test on the puck?  Open netflix go to get help and run the connection test.

 

Any speed less than 20mbps for HD & 30mbps for UHD will cause an isue.

 

It sounds like this is more a wifi issue than a broadband issue so your post has been moved to the relevant section for Sky stream.

@malcolmhales It would be, you would need to turn WiFi off in the pucks settings menu if you use ethernet, and restart the puck

Will that effect the household WiFi? I truly think there is a problem with it because sometimes my phone WiFi drops out as well. The puck problems are only on the BBC stations it seems.

@malcolmhales  Stream pucks don't form part of a mesh unlike Sky Q boxes, there would be no effect on your existing WiFi signal.
