Puck forgets progress on shows
I've been having a persistent issues with my Stream puck which always forgets progress on any TV shows I've been watching.
I've tried restarting the device and waiting for updates but nothing.
Is this a known issue that Sky resolving? Seems like a missing fundamental feature of any streaming device.

Re: Puck forgets progress on shows
This is a feature of the service! My particular favourite variation of this feature is when the menu icon shows your progress through the show, and then proceeds to restart it from the beginning when you play it. Genius or what!

Re: Puck forgets progress on shows
@DylanK1 The progress bars have never been very good. They tend to work OK for me but only remain in place for a couple of weeks.
I have noticed recently that when finishing an episode of some series the next episode does not appear in the continue watching rail . This is particularly noticeable on Channel 4 series. To get around this I watch the first couple of minutes of the next episode and then rewind it.

Re: Puck forgets progress on shows
This happens all the time, even worse if your in binge mode.
Like clicking next episode just dumps you on the home screen and you have to go through all the menus, etc then you have to work out what ones you've seen as it hasn't saved your progress.

Re: Puck forgets progress on shows
This is extremely annoying. It's been happening constantly on my Stream box. I have no idea where I am upto on some of my shows.
It seems like a such a basic thing to get right but it's very very frustrating.

Re: Puck forgets progress on shows
Hello all,
Thank you for your post on the Sky Community... I just need some more detail from you to investigate.
- Could you tell me what channel this is from?
- If not a channel, which app?
- And what piece of content, series and episode
- Any patterns you've noticed?
Thanks,

Re: Puck forgets progress on shows
There doesn't seem to be a common channel, it's happening a lot.
For example, went to watch the new series of S.W.A.T. and it doesn't think I've watched any.
Also the same for Friday Night Dinner, The Equaliser, Midsommer Murders.... literally seems like it remembers nothing at all across multiple apps and channels including ITVX, U, and the Sky channels.
