Premier Sports Channels 1 & 2

Hi.

I am almost there is deciding to take up a Sky Stream contract. In researching my options I see that the Sky website states that Premier Sports channels 1 & 2 are NOT available on Sky Stream. I have read elsewhere that you can sign up to Premier Sports via Amazon. I am also planning to buy a bang up to date 4K Smart TV. If I sign up to a Sky Stream package would that prevent me separately subscribing to Premier Sports via Amazon and watching those channels on my new TV?

This seems to suggest it is possible. Am I right? It lists "live sport" as being an option. Have to confess however that so far what I am finding online is largely suggestions that if you rely on Sky Stream you will not be able to watch Premier Sports.

Hi Simon,

Just checked my own Sky Stream box. No Premier Sports listed in the TV guide or within the Upgrades menu on the box either. Checked the Prime Video app which is available on Sky Stream and you can watch Premier Sports through that for 15.99 a month.

You can also watch Premier Sports in the STV Player app for the same price, but you also Get STV Player+ as part of that, so might be worth checking out.

I noticed it yesterday when helping another member with something else.

That works outside of Scotland too, as far as I can tell.

According to an X post last week Premier Sports rugby is launching soon on stream/glass so I would assume the rest of the channels would also launch. I tried the Amazon app for Premier sports but the PQ was well below regular broadcast standards.
