Possible Technical Issue - Sky Stream

I am slightly concerned I think discovered a slight technical issue with my Sky Stream Pucks, a channel which i do not pay for, appears to be working, this channel is Channel 211 (Baby TV HD). However, i am aware this channel is part of the Sky Kids package, and confirmed on the website page, (as seen in screenshot below). Is this a technical issue, or is the channel on a free to view period. The channel seems to work live via the Sky TV Guide, on both the primary and multiroom boxes, (as seen in a video below) however, does not work via either Sky Go or via On Demand on the Sky Stream Pucks. (as seen in a video below).

None of the other kids channels are broadcasting, such as Cartoonito etc, which state to upgrade your subscription to watch.

Re: Possible Technical Issue - Sky Stream

Adding to the pervious post, as the other two videos seem to be rejected, sorry about this. Hope these videos work, the first video highlights the problem, as the live channel works.

Re: Possible Technical Issue - Sky Stream

The videos appear to be working, the main issue is that the live channel of Baby TV is working through the TV guide via both the primary and multiroom pucks. However, do not work on demand or via Sky Go, as the videos highlight. Is this a technical issue with the box? Or is the channel on a free preview type arrangement.

@Waterhill34 how odd. I've no idea what's going on there, but as long as you're not being billed for Sky Kids, I don't think I'd be concerned.

Yeah @Waterhill34 there's nothing to be concerned by here from your perspective so don't worry but this is a good spot and I'm sure the Sky team appreciate the heads up.

Baby TV has stopped working for me now. I have the Sky ultimate package, Netflix and discovery plus.

do I now need to buy kids package to get this even though my kid is 1 year old and won't watch any of the other tv shows

Yes BabyTV is part of the Sky Kids pack. As per this thread it looks like there was a technical issue which meant that non Sky Kids subscribers were able to access the channel.

Re: Possible Technical Issue - Sky Stream

Hi I have been an avid watcher of Baby TV and has also stopped working for me now..... I have clicked the button that says to subscribe and it then tells me I am already subscribed with a code of 'MYSKY_1802'

so am I subscribed or not if I am why isn't it working and if I'm not how can I subscribe

@Robert2704 if you're subscribed you'll see Sky Kids in your bill.

Re: Possible Technical Issue - Sky Stream

I know I don't subscribe to kids package but I thought it was part of my £110 a month I'm paying. I refuse to add any additional packages to my account and am on a rolling contract.

Will seek babytv elsewhere and consider leaving. Just annoying prices go up. Fix term contracts no longer benifitial and services get cut rather than increase.

pretty annoyed

Re: Possible Technical Issue - Sky Stream

@IamMM you can watch a version of BabyTV on YouTube, they have a live stream on their channel there but it's not the same as the Sky channel.

If Baby TV is the only kids channel you watch that is a good alternative, but of course it's more faff than just having it on the EPG and you may get more/different ads and different content. But it may scratch the itch you have.
