thank you for posting that, i just left it today assuming it still wasn't working but after i read your post i tried again.

 

finally finished watching a program on channel 5 that i started last saturday!

 

let's hope that it continues to work.

Thank you for your patience whilst we worked through this problem.

 

Our support teams have been working with My5 and advised that there have been improvements made, to help with the issue. I can see that it looks to be resolved for a couple of you. If that's not the case, can you let us know by replying to the thread, please?

 

I'm going to mark this post as the current answer, so that everyone has the most up-to-date information.

By way of feedback @KevNewMedia I have just replayed through the ad breaks of The Forsytes Episode 3 where I had the problems before and it played as it should.  I needed to do a reboot though.

Thank you @KevNewMedia for your efforts in getting the support team to look at the issue.

I have now managed to watch three full episodes of Blindspot back to back.

They adverts segments played as they should. 

There were only a couple of instances where the playback momentarily stuttered after an advert break.

The My5 app now appears to be working as it should.

So, again, thank you for helping get the issue resolved.
