Recently had Sky Stream fitted.
I think the problem is that the Router is connected to the incoming unit which is mounted upstairs in the front bedroom.
The TV is situated on the ground floor at the rear of the house.
With a previous supplier we used the ZyXel PLA4021 adapters. One plugged into router then 13a socket with the other one plugged into the tv and adjacent 13a socket.
When we had BT as our broadband provider we had to use a booster unit in the lounge.
I think the booster for Sky is £4 per month.
Does anyone know if it's ok to use the ZyXel adapter ?
Kind regards
David

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAre these just a pair of power line adapters, using ethernet from the adapters to the route4 and your Sky Stream puck?
If so that should work fine with Sky broadband
Make sure if you use your power line adapter ethernet method, on your pucks change these settings;
Turn wifi OFF under Network if you puck/s are connected via ethernet.
Set Network standby mode to ON and Overnight power saving is OFF.
