Thanks, I'll try a cold start 👍

Thanks for your update although a great deal to be resolved!
I experienced sound breaks when watching 401 UHD , but did not happen yesterday so hopefully a small step forward 🤞

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Yeah it's strange that a reboot is needed after changing the settings but that is seemingly how the product works.
i figured that out by trial and error when I switched to stream a year ago. I figured out pretty quickly that WiFi signal strength was key and likely the cause of my problem but it took me a while to figure out I had to reboot after disabling the WiFi for it to actually use the Ethernet cable.

Still getting pixelation issues and jumpy on ITV4 tonight 🥲

Sky Atlantic is really poor right now! Pixelation and jumpy

One of these days it will get sorted @PaulH7

Turned it off in the end. Sky this is so frustrating. You should be throwing everything at this problem. Sort it out or I'm leaving your service after 20 years.

Agreed @PaulH7 It really should not be taking this long to sort these issues out, along with all the other problems. Maybe rather than keep blaming the ISP etc. they should be focusing hard to get these issues sorted ASAP

So, @Super+Anthony , is Sky alone in having issues to this extent? We have heard Virgin have had a few problems but most streaming providers seem to have it more or less right so it's not impossible to do. If they haven't fixed it yet, I wonder if they will.

Yes will be interesting @squareeyeschris and also whether stream is here for the long term if it can't be?

Since rejoining Sky back in July I haven't been able to watch a single sports event without pixelation, not one!
Paying a premium for a below par service, I've now decided to give them until January 1st to sort it or I'm cancelling without penalty
Only need to give them 30 days notice and the new Digital markets, competition and consumers act 2024 means I can say goodbye and I will
I'm fed up of paying good money for terrible service now

I have been moaning about this for what seems months now on twitter, my download is over 200mb on wifi faster on ethernet and SKY are blaming my broadband, yet if i connect same apps, Apple, Disney Iplayer through amazon firestick everything is perfect
Looks like it iwll be a goodbye from me..... im not spending £50 amonth to have this continual disruption
