Just got pixelated issue once again a few times on Sky sports UHD main event

Pixelation and sound sync issues STILL not fixed after months and months of waiitng.
I presume Sky will be reducing our subsciption as a gesture of goodwill and emailing customers to apologise - to exceed our expectation (LOL!!!!!)

I definitely think some kind of refund is called for. (Whether it's given with good will or not.)

Agree 100% but doubt that will happen.

It's still happening intermittently in New v Spurs game
sky stream is very disappointing, have far more days with issues than days that you don't
When are Sky going to properly stabilise this service

Yes, watching the Newcastle/Spurs game on SS PL in HD and have seen a few glitches aswell

Think it's worth mentioning that the pixelated picture issue may only be affecting very few customers. People tend to post on here when they have an issue, rather than when things are working. I for one, have no issues with pixelation. I am on 1 Gig Virgin Media broadband, connected via WiFi, running two boxes in UHD. Could the issue be related to a specific ISP ?

I'm on 1 Gig with Virgin, albiet in Ireland, connected with ethernet and I do have issues for like 3 weeks or so now
One thing I tried today was pointing a fan at the puck incase it was a cooling issue but it didn't help at all

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Jason+Golding Well said, the majority of streaming customers are not experiencing this problem just a few. Unfortunately I am one of the few who does have the issue from time to time but TBH there are more important things to worry about and I don't let it bother me. As many of the posters have said is is so fleeting that if you blink you might miss it.
I realise than some people may be experiencing a more serious pixelation issue than I have and for them I hope it is resolved soon. Although I still see it occasionally I found it improved significantly with the QS028 update but again I realise this was not the case of everyone.
Fingers crossed it get fixed soon 🤞

My overall complaint is how often there are issues with sky stream full stop .... pixelation, freezing, intermittent black screens etc etc
there is rarely a day goes by without there being something
i never experienced any of these things with Sky Q

I posted a separate thread about this but I'm glad it's not just me.
I gave Glass and experiencing the same issues.
Naff.

So now we're back to "not many people have the problem so it must by their own fault." If they have a problem they should just ignore it.
We can presume then that nothing is being done about it.
This is definitely Sky's problem and they should fix it no matter how many are affected. We pay plenty for a service and it should work properly. If you were to buy an item in a shop and it turned out to be faulty you could not be refused a refund or replacement on the basis that not many customers had had a problem

Mate do you watch UHD sports on your stream? As for me that is the only place where there is pixelation and issues , rest is fine. It is super annoying when you're paying double compared to something like now tv

No not resolved. Am on my second puck now & still having the same intermittent pixelation issue watching Newcastle v Spurs on UHD today.

Sport streams seem to be widely affected but if you have a check through the posts here, especially the earlier ones, you will see that pretty well all of the Sky branded live streams have the problem. Anyway, Sky's response: "Suck it up"
