Attempting to watch the Hungarian GP on playlists with Stream. Every 30s or so, it is jumping forward 2 - 3 seconds at a time. I've checked wifi speed, reset box and tried all other fixes I can find.
Extremely infuriating, as I have been a sky customer for some time; had to switch from Q to Stream when I moved house. The service, since switching, has been awful.
Can this inability to provide a stable service be grounds to get out of my contract early? I think it's time to change from a company who is just out to make money and move to one that actually provides a good service!

Absolute joke. Seems an issue Sky's end by the sounds. Really annoying. Anyone spoke to sky?

There seems to be something wrong with the Hungarian F1 stream because many of us are seeing the same 2-3 second skip every couple of minutes. It's NOT my internet connection - I have 500Mbps Fibre to premises running (according to Netflix on the puck at 443.7Mbps)
Looking a the price I'm paying for the 500Mbps Sky Fibre connection and the Sky Stream infrastructure I'm feeling very unhappy.
Just waiting for Sky to blame Crowdstrike!!

Crap this, and I've now missed the C4 highlights. Not happy at all.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSo it's seemingly an issue with the playback.
Everyone who has this issue should send an email to the viewer relations team viewerR@sky.uk.
This is the best and quickest way to report these types of issues and they will then get passed to the correct Sky backend team to fix and resolve.
Posting on the forum won't necessarily get the attention from Sky immediately and would only do so during normal working hours anyway.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAlso just to add similar to the British Grand Prix it's not the entire race that's affected, the issue stops at around lap 15/16 which is about the same length into the race it started working for the British Grand Prix so for those still wanting to watch the race it isn't like it's completely preventing it if you battle through the first 20-25 minutes of the race show.

Anyone help me with why Verstappen was annoyed? Or why Norris is second? Got half a radio message, no picture of what happened.
Lap 17 seems like lots has gone on.

This is an absolute joke skipping like mad what kind of service is this an utter shambles
21 Jul 2024 09:33 PM
Luckily it seems to have resolved itself after the first few laps.

Yep second week running.
I really hope Sky get this sorted otherwise I'll have to switch back to a local storage service which wasn't quite as flashy but certainly wasn't as infuriating as the jump just after the start. Let's just hope they keep the old boxes available for me to switch back to.

All good after lap 17 but still an absolute discrace, SKY need to sort this **bleep** out
