Right then, engineer arrived to put up a sky dish , then talked is into having sky stream , ok left the property with the bus job still open on the system.
Tried to order some sky pucks cannot order because of the engineer leaving job open

SENT TO THE BACKROOM DEPT TO SOLVE ISSUES STILL WAITING 2 WEEKS LATER STILL CANNOT ORDER A PUCK AND STILL PSYING FOR CHANNELS I CANNOT WATCH AND CANNOT CANCEL FOR THE SAME REASON AS ABOVE

Hi @DerekT2 No one here can help you im afraid. You are down to the mercy of Sky sorting out the problem. I would have thought they need to cancel your Q installation which would then allow you to order Sky Stream.

Re: Peeed off with sky
Start a chargeback with your bank
I bet you once they receive the chargeback notice they'll contact you straight away

You'd lose that bet every time. Realistically the mammoth scale of Sky billing doesn't allow any such thing, and external contact is almost always automated (generally to tell users their service has been suspended because payment hasn't been received)

Sky isn't some massive unstoppable super-entity you know.
In the context of the discussion by the OP
Sky has failed to provide contracted services and is in breach, customer is entitled to redress

No, but its customer base is far too large to engage in that kind of proactive outbound calling or individual email exchange on specific issues. Unilaterally cancelling payment is almost always counterproductive: it just causes debt to accrue and Sky blocks inbound calls once an account is in deficit.
