Paramount plus not recognising account

My paramount plus account isn't recognising me. Sky says it's active but they say it isn't. I have been it for months via Sky not a new account

So here we are a month later.  

 

I have had a number of calls with Sky, and they have tried to be helpful.  But in the end I've cancelled Sky cinema. Sky very apologetic and have given me non-monetary compensation as an apology.  Somewhere there's a piece of untested software, bolloxing their system.

 

No ill will, just another small annoyance as big companies over complicate their offerings.

 

Not going to be activating any of the new lnked services any time soon that's for certain. 🙂

same here. Sky complaints process has resulted in getting knowwhere. On live chat they blame paramount. When you call paramount, they blame sky.  This does not bode well for HBO Max and Disney+ being added to Sky subscriptions.

Exactly the same problem I'm having they're both blaming each other with neither having any idea how to solve the problem

The problem is clear to me - even if sky doesn't want to admit it: their "Sky Marketplace" billing and provisioning system is broken, and has been since 2025.  No-one at Sky seems to want to take ownership of the issue as it simply doesn't make business sense when the customer is trying to add a subscription they are fully entitled to add for free or close to free.   

 

The only way to get traction is to threaten to leave for Virgin etc and be willing to follow through if necessary.  I think that's the only way Sky will listen.

I've finally given up on my Sky subscription and started a new direct account. I can log into the app on my Sky devices. I can't see any advantages to the Sky subscription unless you're getting it free with Cinema.

I'm having the same issue, sky have been useless but paramount seem to be listening. Paramount has logged my account and contacted sky to resolve the issue. 

 

I contacted paramount on Wednesday 11th February and I am still awaiting an update. I've had no paramount since Friday 6th though
