For those that may be interested - Paranount Plus is soon to follow others and introduce different price points. Adverts - Non Adverts HD and Non Adverts with 4K and HDR. I am sure it will be introduced in the Uk sooner rather than later. It will be interesting to see what paramount plus gets offered with sky cinema. I guess the standard HD with no adverts. Also of interest is some customers on Now Tv entertainment packages are being offered a 6 month contract for £6.99 that includes paramount plus

@Jason+Golding I don't think the UK will be getting this anytime soon as it seems as if Sky have a long term deal with Paramount for their UHD content, especially on the movies. If it does happen, it'll nice if they include the UHD content in the UHD Sky add on..

@Nigelb1972 that's for sky cinema . I don't think it would affect Paramount Plus launching a new UHD tier on PP. it's their content !

True but Comcast have pretty deep pockets these days. It's a similar situation with Max, that won't be launching anytime soon in European territories where their deal with Sky is in place because Sky/Comcast pay them a huge amount of money for their content. Also, it's slowly coming to light that most of these streaming platforms are hemmoraging cash, even Disney+.... So far, it appears that the only one running a profit is Netflix.

@Nigelb1972 as of June 2023. Netflix stood at being in debt to the sum of $14.3 BILLION - so although it has made an operational profit for the past three years, they have an extremely long way to go.

As of June, they're running a profit margin of 13% which is a positive for them...
