No "watch from start" or catch up on lical ITV news.

At 18:00 every day ITV1 show a thirty minute local news program (in my case "UTV Live). 

I have no choice but to watch it live.  It's not on ITVX and there is no "watch from start".

Surely this can't be right ❓

@perrosno Unfortunately I think this is normal as I have no Watch from Start on my local ITV news. I do on the ITV national news though.

It's not a lot of help but if I go to the categories and select the News section of ITVX I can find my local broadcast for the previous evening if I missed it.

It has solved my issue,

However, I still think this is a bug in Sky Stream. I can see no reason why this programme should not work in the same way as any other.

Its not actually a Sky Stream thing, its an ITV thing. For some programmes ITV don't provide the "Watch from start" feature. There were a few issues reported previously that affected both Sky and Virgin Stream custoemrs regarding ITV watch from start functionality, which indicates its down to ITV rather than the platforms providing the stream.

Indeed, it's the same if you watch any of the live channel streams on the ITVX app on any platform - be it on a Firestick, Apple TV box, Roku stick or a smart TV. The 'watch from start' option is not available on everything.

That's very interesting and explains a lot. I still wonder why there is no deep link from the watch list into the programme on ITVX (post transmission).

Is there not? I thought there was but I stopped using the playlist a while ago as it was too unreliable, so I guess it's stopped working again.

It's a shame because it works well on my Apple TV 4K box - I can add an ITV programme to my 'Up Next' list (their equivalent of Sky's playlist) and it stays there, showing a progress bar under each programme too.
