No Subtitles on ITVX
I joined Sky recently. I complained about difficulty of getting subtitles on ITVX recordings. On the Community somebody explained hot to switch them on. Now I cannot get them at all and when I try, using 3 dots they will not come on and I get a message saying I have played the prgramme before. I am deaf so this is a major problem. JFREE

ITV programmes don't record on Sky Stream. Anything from an ITV channel that you add to your playlist will play back via the ITVX app. You will probably need to turn on subtitles within the ITVX app itself using the menu at the bottom of the screen when playing back your chosen programme.

Each app has different subtitles settings, which isn't super intuitive but it's the case because each app developer does their own thing.
Fortunately Sky have a really useful page for turning on subtitles across various apps https://www.sky.com/help/articles/enabling-subtitles
But some shows may not have subtitles, and that's at the discretion of the channels and programme makers themselves.
