Hi,
I've got a sky stream puck connect to a Harman Kadron Citation 1100 soundbar via HDMI, the soundbar is then connected to to the TV via HDMI arc.
Content through apps such as Netflix and Disney Plus (via the puck) show the Atmos symbol next to content with Atmos and the soundbar confirms that it's playing Atmos content when using these apps.
I have Sky Cinema with the UHD/Atmos package however nothing in Sky Cinema on demand or other on demand sky content (like The Last of Us) mentions anything about Atmos on the film/show information page. It shows that UHD is available so it recognises that I have the UHD/Atmos package.
When I play any sky on demand that I would expect to have Atmos such as recent movies the soundbar shows as just outputting Dolby surround.
I've tried the puck sound settings with both auto and pass through without any success.
Anyone able to offer any advice or guidance?

Have a look through this thread.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately I've tried everything in that thread and it's not made a difference.
I think it's def a problem with the Sky service as I can play Atmos from other sources via the puck without any issues.

Atmos definitely works on Sky content because my Sony soundbar kicks in to Atmos when it's available. If you have Sky Sports, check one of the games in UHD because they're in Atmos. TNT Sport Ultimate premier league games are normally in Atmos as well.

Dolby Atmos works fine on Sky Sports uhd football content.
Try watching the live efl or premier league on the Sky Sports football channels, Sky Sports Main Event UHD or play a live match from the live sports rail at Home>Sports
The uhd F1 on SKY Sports F1 UHD though does not broadcast any Dolby Atmos, as F1 FOM do not supply any Atmos enabled audio broadcasts to Sky.
On demand content in uhd from Sky channels has Dolby Atmos.
Good examples to try are Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon.
All above have worked without issues on my Sky Stream.

Thanks for the reply guys, unfortunately I still can't get any of the Sky On Demand content to play with Atmos. I don't have sky sports o can't check with that.
I even tried a factory reset with the puck to no avail. Looks like it'll be a phone call to sky tomorrow but not holding my breath that they'll be much help based on other problems with the puck!

Something to try.
Do a reset, via the below, but important thing is to power off TV and puck (remove puck and TV from power or turn off socket)
Go to Home>Settings and change your Picture & Sound settings to Auto from the Dolby setting..
Put puck and TV in standby, leave off for about ten minutes.
Bring puck out of standby (so still in auto at this point), go back into setting and change the Picture & Sound to the Dolby Digital Plus setting.
Power down the TV and puck as I mentioned above.
The auto function does from what I have noticed a kind of puck sound reset.

Thanks I'll give that a try later and let you know how it gets on.
At what point during the process should I be powering off at the wall? Just at the very end?

Yes at end for puck and TV.
But do make sure after the auto audio change you do put tv and puck into standby.

Gave that a try this morning but unfortunately still no Atmos.
Phoned sky and the guy got me to check a couple of things which od already checked myself. He spoke with this tech support department who were unaware of any problems and said it might be a content issue and they'd look into it.
Not going to hold my breath for an answer anytime soon.

So after lots of resetting and disconnecting and reconnecting over the last couple of days sky content now appears to be playing Atmos where available (yay!).
The only problem I still have is that nowhere on a film/programme information screen does it say whether it's Atmos enabled, and the only way I can find out is by checking the soundbar once it's started playing. Is this the same for everyone? I thought there would have been an atmos logo or something next to the UHD/HDR badges on the information pages.

Atmos has always been a bit of an afterthought with Sky - they don't really shout about it because availability can be so random. Best advice is to not expect it, then treat it as a pleasant surprise when you do get it.

Hi. I have this exact same problem. Do you know what you did that solved it? Would appreciate it. Thanks
