No 4K/UHD on Netflix app through Sky Stream

As the title suggests. I am receiving UHD content through other apps and the sport channels. When I switch to the tv's Netflix, UHD is available. The stream box is connected directly to the tv.

@Tom260  @Gulan

I get this at times with Netflix via the Stream device. When it's happened, I change the resolution to 1080, save and then back to 2160. Netflix then behaves and shows correctly.

@Tom260  Does "The Dig" show as 4k/UHD at all on Netflix?

Also I would check that Streaming apps are set to UHD as default Settings --> Picture --> Default streaming format --> set to UHD

"The Dig" is only available in HD via the Sky Stream, but when viewing through the tv app, UHD is available.

Default streaming format is set to UHD.

@Tom260  If you've not already done so I would try refreshing the apps through the settings menu.

I've given it a go, does it it take a few minutes or quite a while? Seems to just be stuck on saying "your apps are refreshing".

Refreshing of apps can take up to 24 hours apps, but often is just a few hours.

Just to make sure your Sky Stream is playing out UHD and or UHD/HDR fine

Try playing a UHD/HDR on demand from Sky, like a White Lotus episode.

Just say 'hdr' to bring up a list of Sky channels on demand uhd/hdr to play.

Also, try playing something on the BBC iPlayer app in UHD.

Just search UHD within the iPlayer app and it will bring up plenty to try.

I'm having the same issue. I have tried pretty much all options including a new stream Puck and doing a software update as well.

Anyone can help?

Try the Reload Netflix form the Get Help in the Netflix App.  Also you could try signing out and back in again.  Also, check picture resolution set to 2160p.

Yep. Done that and no luck. I can also confirm that the 4k works if I go to YouTube through the sky Puck.

One other thing to try.

Log into your Netflix account in a web browser.

On there you used to be able go to Plyaback settings under  account settings and set the video quality .

If I remember right, the one to set in there is 4k high and auto, to make sure all your devices use that best option.

Netflix uses higher bit-rate UHD HDR streams, in HDR10 or Dolby Vision (if your TV is capable).

Check that the HDMI port you have the puck attached to on your TV is enabled for HDR and that you are using the supplied HDMI cable or an equivalent high speed one.

Upon launching the app Netflix checks your TVs capabilities and will lower the resolution to HD if it detects insufficient speed to pass UHD/HDR.
