The Channel 4 app has been temperamental before on Stream. Have you tried a refresh apps from the settings menu?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Cheryl24 I have just tried the Ch4 app on my puck and it worked correctly so the issue is probably at your end. I would try rebooting your puck and if that doesn't resolve it refresh your apps. The app refresh can take a few hours so don't expect any immediate solution.
EDIT - Apologies @Cheryl24 I have just noticed you are new to the forum (welcome 😄). Being new I will explain how to reboot the puck and refresh the Apps.
To reboot: Go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device (do not do a factory reset). It takes about 3 minutes to completely reboot. You will have a blank screen for part of the process so don’t panic.
You will find the App refresh is in the same menu.
