You hub may on the way and may receive it next couple of days however if you don't already have broadband your activation may be different to activation date of you tv package as this is probably handled by open reach. Even if you have broadband from another company the change over date to Sky may also be different to to your tv date as this also depends on when your present broadband supplier and Sky agree the date of change. However if your  broadband at present from another supplier you can use that to connect to Sky stream on your tv start date until it switched over to Sky.if this is the case don't install the Sky hub till you know when the Sky broadband will start

@Jules1962

Stream television requires broadband of some kind.

If you placed an order for Sky Broadband at the same time as ordering Stream, the timescale for provisioning new broadband is typically much longer than it takes to ship a Stream puck: unfortunately Sky is really bad at making this clear.

@Jules1962  Something else to be aware of is tv streaming pucks automatically activate 21 days after delivery if not done beforehand meaning sky will charge you for the tv subscription from this date regardless of whether you have a working internet connection or not

the reason is sky perhaps unwisely think people ordering stream already have some form of internet connection available to them

the solution is to contact sky once you have a working connection and ask about the possibility of a credit for days without the tv subscription

It's unclear whether you currently have broadband from another supplier. If you do, you can go ahead and set up your Sky Stream Puck.

@Jules1962 You should have an order confirmation email from Sky detailing what has been ordered.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

It's worrying that you don't know what you've ordered.

Prices vary a lot for different Sky TV and broadband packages. Be careful that you haven't signed up for a broadband package that is much faster than you actually need, and/or a TV package with channels that you don't watch, otherwise you may be stuck paying for them for the next two years.

How did you sign up for the package? Did you order it online? Did you speak to someone over the phone?

I would be concerned if I ordered something but don't know what it was @Jules1962 If you contact Sky they will tell you.
