New to sky stream

Trying to sign in to discovery+ for the first time, all that comes up is a message which says Time for an update, it says follow your devices instructions to update, but there are no instructions, getting nowhere.  Ive gone in to settings to refresh and update my apps, but this does nothing. Any idea what i need to do.  Thanks
