Have just received a new Sky Stream remote as my dog destroyed the last one. They're identical. However the new one will not adjust the volume like the old one did, when I try to set it up and search for the TV it says my TV model (Hisense) is not supported, however it worked with the old remote. Any ideas?

Wow feel stupid. A hard reset was all it took, switched off from the wall for a minute or two, and then retried the exact same process only this time my TV was listed as an option

It should then offer you the chance to enter and then try the volume button and if that doesn't work it should then offer another on and so on, usually one of those will work.

No. After selecting my TV is not listed it just says this feature is not supported on my TV and takes me back to the home page. But it worked on the previous remote

@LucasClements If you haven't tried this already. Go to Settings, either scroll down to the bottom of the Home page or say Settings using the voice control button. Go to Connected devices and select it. It will take you to Sky remote. Press that and choose Control your TV, and follow the instructions. Doing it this way it doesn't ask for your tv make. Just try each code as it appears. I hope that works.

That's the route I've been going down. It says "Try changing the volume. Did that work?", I say no. And say no again which then takes me to the choose your brand of TV menu

Hi Lucas, what's your Hisense model number? I wonder if we can identify a similar enough model that is supported to see if that works.
