Re: New Sky OS
Hi
So those that were lucky enough to get selected by Sky for the, SkyOS 2.0 Trial, can they openly talk about it/share screenshots in here, as its a public trial?
I hope that the rest of us see the new SkyOS before the end if the year/early next year. I know Sky won't give a timeframe etc.
Thanks in Advance
Barry 🙂

Re: New Sky OS
Words can not describe how excited I am to have the tv guide one button to right will be 😂
Never mind any fancy new features, something I find myself on the current OS searching for the guide because the Home Screen sometimes promotes stuff and pushes it down.
Call me old fashioned but you can't beat a good scroll through the sky TV guide 😍

Re: New Sky OS
SKY you need to consider whether keeping this thread open as a serious portal for feedback is wise in my extensive experience of beta trials you need a closed shop environment.
Sure keep things going for chitter chatter and screenshots etc. to keep the excitement and enthusiasm of customers going but if you want serious feedback and data collection this thread is not the place, every tester post will be scrutinized and bombarded with questions @GD1 must already be having a meltdown explaining himself over and over.
Open a community WhatsApp group for easy sharing of info and videos, photos etc. or a closed beta tester thread.
Just my opinion but this thread is already 10 pages in of nothing.

Re: New Sky OS
Just to add, there are 1000 hours of space apparently, if anyone figures out how to actually set to record and not just add to watchlist let me know!

Couldn't agree more @Gincap .
There is absolutely no way to get relevant, concise feedback and bugs reported on a public forum where it's possible for those that aren't beta testing to also post.

Re: New Sky OS
Non testers will feel left out and frustrated by not being able to see the changes and participate. It's brilliant that Sky have opened this up to customers but.......

Re: New Sky OS
Beta testing new OS available today.
My Favourite Channels are correctly saved under Manage Favourites.
However, the new TV Guide only provides All Channels, TV Shows, Movies, Sport, News, Kids and International. There is no Favourites option.
Pressing LEFT in the TV Guide does nothing, nor gives option to change from All Channels to Favourites.
Additionally, when watching live TV, pressing the number assigned to a Favourite (for example Favourite 1) produces "Channel Unavailable", even though that channel is correctly saved in Manage Favourites.
This means there seems currently no way to view or navigate the TV Guide using my saved Favourite Channels.
Please confirm whether this is a known OS 2.0 beta issue or provide instructions for viewing Favourite Channels in TV Guide.
