Non testers will feel left out and frustrated by not being able to see the changes and participate. It's brilliant that Sky have opened this up to customers but.......
Ironically, when the sign-up process was available via the My Sky app, I did decide to peruse the T&Cs they had with it, and it did say not to post publically about it, which seems to contradict them wanting bugs/issues reported via the community. 😂
I'm guessing the right and left hands don't quite know what each other are doing.

Re: New Sky OS
My Stream puck will not let me watch live TV, it states there has been a technical fault.
A reboot sorted it but i hope this isn't a sign of how this trial is going to go!

@MKHS Unfortunately that's a risk you take when signing up to things like this, bugs and teething problems are inevitable

Re: New Sky OS
Of course, to be expected abd a quick restart isn't too much trouble, fingers crossed it's not too frequent.
I will take it for the improved look and feel to it so far though!

Re: New Sky OS
For the people in the beta, how are the subtitles please?
Subtitles have always been terrible on Stream, far too big with incorrect positioning compared to subtitles on Freeview and Freesat. On some channels on Stream the subtitles were almost in the centre of the screen...
Really, really hope Sky OS have fixed this as subtitles haven't been fit for purpose on Stream since launch.

I've been restarting my box like crazy to get the update 🤣
Hi @Harrisev
We can tell you're keen to get your hands on the update, and honestly, the excitement is great to see! 😄
Just so you know, restarting your box isn't going to force the update through. The rollout is being managed automatically, so there's no need to take any action from your side, it's simply a case of sitting tight for now. Thanks for bearing with us.

Re: New Sky OS 2.0
Is OS 2 any faster/more responsive than 1.3?
