Got the update to 2.0 this morning and had a look and play around...

apart from the mentioned 'bugs', omissions etc, I noticed some some stuff with on demand isn't working:

-started watching Bake Off on Channel 4 and it didn't show up in the cw rail. 

-started playing a few things off various apps (HBO, ITV X). Previously it went straight to playing the episode after opening the app. With SkyOS 2.0 it just opens the app and goes to episode page. It requires an extra click to start playing now.

Recordings are stored in the cloud, like they always have been on Sky Stream/Glass.

@Brock123 If you didn't receive an invite then no, you won't be able to join the trial.

If you long-press the select button on a programme in the EPG, you'll get a screen that gives you info about the programme, and can scroll to the right to press 'watch from start'. Working for me on both ITV and C4 (on a Gen 2 Sky Glass).

thanks for the response.  thats a shame but will lurk on here with interest.  Really miss the recording when using Stream so fingers crossed we can all get it soon

Looking good so far with the new OS, taking into account the known issues. Will there be a change log to detail improvements/revisions as we go through the beta process?

Also, I've been trying to work out when viewing the guide and you have the mini player showing the current channel, how you get back to what's playing without having to go all the way back to the main menu. Can you select the mini player to bring it back to the main view?

Favourites not working. Unable to watch from the start on channel 4.

Seeing the UI go from the usual blue to black then blue again especially in the settings section. 

Recents section says to go to Settings > Privacy to manage your recent activity - however no privacy option on Pucks & on Glass just gives the microphone on / off.

Bluetooth on Puck, allows you to add Amazon Luna Controllers - no app available & help page doesn't exist  https://www.sky.com/gaming

@Yoghurt  The os is the same across both glass and stream so eventually once there's a public release everyone will get the same experience regardless of device
