@WelshGeezer @We don't emails telling us that you haven't been given the update yet 😉 lol

I wasn’t posting to tell anyone I haven’t received the update. I was posting to reassure @Harrisev that they’re not alone in experiencing the enrolment process or the extended wait.

I’m also confirming that I too only received the Beta Survey email; I never got any email saying I’d been selected, enrolled, or approved for the Beta. Sky and the other Beta testers still waiting to be moved over might find that useful to know.

Sky has already said we should be enrolled by the end of the month, and I’m in no rush.

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

Favourite Channels aren't working. They are listed under 'Manage Favourites' in Settings and some (first 20) appear in 'What's on now and next' on Home page but when selecting favourite channel number (i.e, 1 etc) it says 'Channel Unavailable' and there is no option to list TV Guide with favourites only, just 'all channels'.

Under TV Guide can't an option to list favourites only be listed in TV Guide as was able to do before the change? And why aren't favourites channel numbers working? Currently BBC1HD is saved as channel 1 in my favourites but is only accessible by entering 101, not 1, which says 'Channel Unavailable'.

Re: New Sky OS

Hi Kev

Is there any progress on the points raised in this thread as nothing appears to have changed. Other than a slick new look all the other changes just seem to have caused problems.

Woohoo, I'm in! Soo much better already - love the tv guide and the sky Q  feel about it in all honesty!

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

My initial thoughts are that it feels sluggish - anyone else experiencing this or just me. It looks a bit prettier but actually isn't that different.

I like the new recordings section - I think this is useful distinction for customers so that they know what is recorded via cloud and what isn't, would be nice if there was an expiry date shown on the cloud recordings so customers know how long it will be available.

I like the new transparent top bar (translucent) looks very apple esque to me. I also like the my sky section much easier to navigate to. Within the tv guide section - sports, movies etc - i would personally change TV shows to general or entertainment.

Just my initial thoughts, I will add as I go along

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

Does anyone's picture seem darker on UHD HLG?

Rewind doesn't work properly on live tv and where as the restart from the beginning option gone ? Edit found restart from beginning - but there is no option to do this on Ch4 or Ch5

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

The new recording section is a marketing master class - this is going to sway a lot of the Q customers who bemoan not having a recording facility on stream

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

The 2.0 software is running much quicker and smoother on my type B box than the type A, in which it appears sluggish

Re: New Sky OS 2.0

There needs to maybe be a pinned post with a definition of what being a beta means. Of course its buggy, it's a beta!
