I have just subscribed to SKY Stream with free Netflix but there does not appear to be a Netflix App available on the screen. My SKY broadband does not activate until 12 September - is this the reason?

This seems to happen randomly to some customers - the Netflix app disappears from the server you are connected to.
Try doing a refresh apps from the settings menu on your puck. This can take a while to complete. Also try turning the puck off at the wall for a while then power it back on. This will re-establisht the connection to Sky's servers and hopefully get you linked to a Netflix app.
This is one of the 'features' of Sky Stream - all the apps are hosted on Sky's servers, not on the puck itself, so you cannot delete or re-install anything, it's all controlled by Sky.

Re: Netflix
Hi @MH50 and welcome to the forum. Your Stream puck should work with almost any broadband provider waiting for the SKy BB should not be the problem.
Have you tries using the voice control on your remote and simply saying Netflix. This is how I get there as it is the quickest way.
You should find the Netflix App on the Apps & inputs rail on your homescreen but if it is not there I would go to Settings > System Management > resets & updates and run the option to refresh apps. This can take up to 24 hours to complete but it is done in the background so you can continue to use the stream puck.
