Puck intermittently loosing signal

Hi,

regularly, especially in the evening, my tv signal drops and we loose all TV. This happens on a daily basis. We have had Sky out and have had extenders installed. Signal improved but we are still left with a service we are paying for and can't consistently watch.

Rather than use boosters or extenders for your WiFi, can you connect an ethernet cable directly between your broadband router and the Stream puck? This will give the most consistent network connection, free of interference which WiFi can be susceptible to.

If you can't connect an ethernet cable due to the puck and router being too far apart, why not invest in some powerline adapters. This will pass the network connection via your home's electrical wiring and can often be much more effective than a poor WiFi connection.
