Netflix on devices through skystream

I had Netflix through bt before joining sky stream a few months ago, Netflix on tv working fine, bus as I'm going on holiday tried Netflix on iPad for first time in a while, got error message saying I'm not a paid up member now, I was told by sky person when signing up they would cancel Netflix for me when signing up for Netflix premium on sky stream,I now think that sky has not cancelled previous membership with Netflix , and causing this problem, sky saying contact Netflix, and Netflix saying contact sky, I'm trapped in a loop here, how to solve this ?

When you first logged in to the Netflix app on Sky Stream did you use the same Netflix login details that you use on your old BT account?

If you did then billing should have automatically switched to Sky.

If you signed up with a new Netflix account on Sky Stream then your old account may still be being billed.

Try logging in to the Netflix website and check your account status on there. It should say billed through Sky under the billing details if you have correctly set it up on the Stream puck.

Open Netflix on the Stream puck and navigate to the get help menu top left. Click on Member and it'll show you the email address associated with the account. If it's not the email address you signed up to Netflix with on your old BT account then you'll need to reset it.

If you can't remember the password then you'll need to reset it. Once you've done this you should be able to log in to the Netflix app on any other device.

Assume by Netflix on tv, you mean Netflix app on your Sky Stream.

If so, go into the Netflix app.

Select the icon top left and go to Get help and select Member.

This will show you the email for the account you are using on your Sky Stream.

In a web browser, login to Netflix.com with that email address and password you are using on your Sky Stream.

Once logged in, go to Account and it should show 'billed by Sky package'.

If so, you should be able to login on your other devices like iPad and phones with the same email and password credentials.

You may need to sign out of Netflix on those devices, if you were using a previous account or uninstall and reinstall the app if you cannot sign out.

Re: Netflix on devices through skystream

Hi yes I mean Netflix on sky stream , but problem is when I try logging in on iPad , iPhone I get message saying the same email address I use on tv app is not working as it says that account is stopped and asks me if I want to reopen another new subscription, cannot get past that page, nb on Netflix app on skystream I've tried updating household by adding devices by asking them to email me , I've clicked that link numorous times without receiving a email from them, sky say contact Netflix are saying contact sky, nightmare, I even thought about cancelling Netflix then get it added again, but reading sky network it says you can't cancel Netflix without cancelling sky contract as it's part of a skystream bundled could not make this up !

@Ledders normally things work as described in the posts above if it isnt call Netflix support (https://gethuman.com/phone-number/Netflix-UK) as it sounds like you have inadvertantly got a mess of two accounts. Also note the device limit which varies according to the tier you are paying for the basic Sky level is the ad supported tier but you can pay extra to Sky for Standard or premium tiers ( see here for what this means https://help.netflix.com/en/node/24926)

You can if you want to waste money add another account but it is cheaper to pay Sky for the higher tiers than paying directly to Netflix and as the ad supported Netflix tier is part of the basic Sky Stream pack so cant be removed but of course you dont need to use that account if you dont want to.
