Mysterious Remote Control Delivery

Hi folks,

Knock on the door this morning to find my lovely postie delivering this from sky??

Have 2 stream pucks, both with fully functioning remote controls. Have never been in touch with sky to request a replacement.

Also, it has dedicated Netflix and YouTube buttons where the plus and microphone buttons should be.

There was no supporting information included in the package, just a big brown box containing this remote and a small user manual??

Very strange.

Anyone else get one and any idea why???

That looks much like the remote control you can request as a Sky Glass TV user who removed their Sky TV subscriptions from their Sky Glass account and no longer Sky TV subbed customers, but just wanted to use the Sky Glass TV as a standalone TV.

Is that in any form above a recent case for you?

Well that explains that 👏🏼

Had glass from launch and it packed in couple of months ago. Replaced it with an OLED and a stream box. 

Will keep it as an emergency backup
