Morning. New user of Sky Stream here.
I am slowly getting used to using Sky Stream.
My previous query was answered successfully so thought I'd have another go with 2 questions.
I have started all the apps I am likely to use but
My5 doesn't work. Managed to add what I wanted to the list but when I came to watch it just seems to go into a buffering mode and will not show. I see from previous posts on here that a reset of apps might work. I've tried that but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Secondly reading some of the comments I was beginning to wonder whether there are some "maintenance" type tasks that I should be doing to clear any "cache" "cookies" or equivalents. Thank you .

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

Anyone else have an issue with random programs on my5 resetting to the beginning after a mid program add break?

Hiya, yes happens constantly so I have to fast forward it but that only moves in 30 second increments so puts me off using the app. I'd appreciate any advice too

That is happening for me at present. Also the wee yellow break markers onthe timeline dissappear making it hard to work out where to FF back to 🤦🏼♂️
The whole Sky Stream system is so ropey. Compares very poorly to my old Sky HD box (never had Q).

Sky do see the community and any trends especially, so may look a bit deeper into any common problem, as it does seem to be affecting a number of customers recently.
For what it's worth I use My5 most days a few times for series and films and am not seeing any problems on my pucks.
Mind, can't say the same for P+, that since the addition of the ads, has occasionally become very clunky in ff/rew and ads that countdown stopping/starting...

When i watch something on my5 it doesn't take me to the app....it goes like when your watching live tv....the graphics are like when you pause tv

Other times it launches as a cloud recording.
It quite a mix of 5 content that I have found is not available on catch-up.
In your playlist, the programme tile for that cloud content will generally have the 5 select logo on the tile.
