Multi Room

Hi All I have multi room and the broadband router is in the bedroom as that's were the telephone box is and all works fine in bedroom but the box in my living room loses signal all the time and you can't watch TV as happens all the time I have restarted the puck but still the same problem doSky offer a WiFi Booster as this might fix the problem in the living room Thanks In Advance Tracey

@Tracey29 another option you can try to is purchase a powerline adapter. These cost about £40-50 in places like Argos and Amazon and basically provide your wifi network over your electricty supply so that you would be able to connect the living room puck in via an ethernet cable.

 

These powerline adapters are essenitally 2 plugs that you plug in and then one plug you connect via ethernet to your router, and the one plug you connect via ethernet to your living room stream puck.

Note that Sky does not loan booster hardware to solve such problems with Glass/Stream, which they did do for Sky Q.

Other option is a mesh WiFi system which although more expensive than Powerline are a lot more efficient and offer more bandwidth than a booster due to how they operate.

 

if you can find a 2 node mesh system on the used market they can be fairly cheap
