Not 100% sure what your asking.
Sky steam doesn't work like Sky Q. There isn't a concept of main boxes and mini boxes. All a Sky stream puck needs to work is WiFi with a speed of 30Mbps.
However note you cannot have stream and Q together. If you swap to stream your Q subscription will end, and recording and channel lineup is very different.
If you have a Q mini box now, this needs a Q main box to work and will not work without one. If you have moved to Stream you need to order more than one puck and subscribe to whole home.
